"Then Moses said to the Lord, "Please, Lord, I am not a man of words (eloquent, fluent), neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; for I am [b]slow of speech and tongue." The Lord said to him, "Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes the mute or the deaf, or the seeing or the blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now then go, and I, even I, will be with your mouth, and will teach you what you shall say." ~Exodus 4:11-12, Amplified version

WHOA! That's about all I can say about the way God has been moving in my life these last few weeks! God has been bringing people of incredible faith walks and merging them into my path. From Joyce Meyer's very strong message to my most recent experience with some key leaders from Bethel Church in Redding, CA-- I have been on an incredible supernatural high!

All of this leads me to today's thought, God loves our weaknesses! The scripture above truly is a great example of how God uses all of our weaknesses. I almost laugh out loud with Moses as he bickers with God about him being picked to lead the Israelite's to freedom into the promise land. Did God not make Moses with His own hands? Did God not make Moses stutter as many scholars have said about Moses' speech problem? God created Moses and knew exactly what his weaknesses were!

This leads us to you and me. What are our weaknesses? Is it our mouths that gossip or have profanity? Is it our negative attitude? Is it our inability to be grateful for everything God has done for us? Do you drink too much, gamble, or rely on medicines too often? No matter what your weaknesses are-- we all have places in our lives that we need to work on! But that doesn't mean God does not want to use us! Just the opposite-- the more broken we are the more GOD shows through us!

My challenge this week is: face your weaknesses today. You might even want to write a list of where you feel you could do better. Then hand God your list and ask Him to help you overcome these weak places in your lives. Then ask God to forgive you. Then allow God to use your weaknesses for HIS glory! Don't focus on your weaknesses or inabilities because then you miss out on God's ability to work through you to reach the hurting and the lost! Just like Moses God will be responsible for working through us and we will be His representative to the world! I end today with my personal prayer to God, "God if you can use a nobody, a broken vessel, but a woman who loves you deeply then use me!" I pray He will use all of us and that He will get all the glory and many lives will come to know Him! AMEN!

I love each of you! Livin' lively, Laine
